Charles William Grisham

Charles W. Grisham Jr., age 87, of Vandalia, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, April 25,2026, at the Baptist Home of Tri-County in Vandalia.

Charlie was born to the late Charles William Grisham and Juanita (Simms) Grisham.

He is survived by his brother, Benny Grisham and wife Sherrie of Bradenton, Florida; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Charlie worked in food delivery services for the Fulton State Hospital in Fulton, Missouri, prior to moving to Vandalia to live with his mother. Later, he made his home at the Baptist Home of Tri-County.

Charlie enjoyed visiting with people, putting puzzles together, attending church, fishing, and gardening at the nursing home. He also had a special love for his brother’s pet, Piper.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Steven Scott Grisham, and two sisters, Connie Moore and Sheila Smith.

Arrangements are under the direction of Waters Funeral Home. 

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
