Bryan received a teaching degree and taught at Mt. Pleasant country school district for three years before joining the U. S. Army. He enjoyed many hobbies, one of his favorites was umpiring Little League ballgames. Bryan also was a wonderful gardener, sharing his fresh vegetables and strawberries with friends and neighbors each summer. Like Will Rogers, Bryan "never met a stranger". When Delphine became an invalid, he spent more time at home lovingly caring for her until her death in 2003. He will be greatly missed by his many friends and family members.
