Officiating will be: Rev. Jerry Ostrom and Randall Kristofferson.
Music provided by: Shirley Forgy - pianist; Sarah Sutton - soloist.
Interment will be in the Bowling Green Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Albert Cantrell, Paul Cantrell, Brent Hubble, Matthew Hubble, Jacob Hubble and Steven Cantrell. Honorary pallbearers: Brand Eskew, Eric Eskew, Brian Pitts, Gerald Carroll and Joey Carroll.

Brenda Kay (Cantrell) Wright passed away at 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at the Tri-County Care Center in Vandalia, Missouri. She attended Van-Far Schools and was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Mexico, Missouri. Brenda had lived and worked in the Mexico area for a number of years before moving back to Vandalia recently. While in Mexico, she had worked at the Arlee Factory, Brookstone and Dawn Foods. Brenda had sung in the church choir and also was a Sunday school teacher and song leader; had been a member of the Hickory Grove Women's Club. She enjoyed music, singing and collecting Christmas bears.

Born: September 27, 1946 in Mexico, Missouri the daughter of Jesse Andrew and Goldie Mae (Eskew) Cantrell.

Married: Hazlitt Harold Wright on December 30, 1968 in Mexico; he preceded her in death on January 14, 1990.

Survivors include: one daughter, Christina M. and husband, Raymond Sutton of Vandalia; two step-daughters, Jana Wagner of Columbia, Missouri and Jeri Girard of Vandalia; two brothers, Albert Cantrell of Cedar Hill, Missouri and Jesse Cantrell of Universal City, Texas; three granddaughters: Sarah Sutton, Autumn Sutton and Katelyn Sutton all of Vandalia; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: parents; husband, Hazlitt; two brothers: Bill Cantrell and Amos Cantrell who died in infancy; three sisters: Helen Shephard, Hazel Cantrell and Shirley Cantrell who died in infancy.
