Bessie L. Simpson passed away unexpectedly at 3:07 a.m. on Thursday, June 14, 2007 at the Audrain Medical Center in Mexico, Missouri.

Born: June 18, 1914 near Curryville, Missouri the daughter of John W. and Ethel E. (Keith) Bryant.

Survivors include: one son, John E. and wife, Shirley Hawk of Dripping Springs, Texas; one step-daughter, Leah Crowell; three nephews, Charles Martin of Mexico, Missouri; Warren Martin of DeSoto, Missouri and Jim Martin of Glencoe, Colorado; one niece, ;two grandchildren, Terry LaRue of Valencia, California and Kim Hawk of Austin, Texas; two great-grandchildren, Jesse Pender of Valencia, California and Catarina Covatta of Austin, Texas.
