Sunday, February 13, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Waters Funeral Chapel in Vandalia, Missouri.
Officiating will be: Rev. Marvin Jones.
Music provided by: selected favorite hymns.
Interment will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Darrol Withrow, Marty Withrow, Larry Cloven, Bradley Goree, Matt Graves and Chris Kleindienst.
Beatrice A. (Ames) Moore passed away at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2005 at the Tri-County Care Center in Vandalia, Missouri. She was a lifelong Vandalia area resident and a member of the United Methodist Church in Vandalia. Bea was a full time homemaker and had worked at the area garment factories as a seamstress and for area restaurants. She enjoyed crochet and sewing.
Born: March 25, 1909 in Jacksonville, Missouri the daughter of John Edward and Sarah Nancy (Haley) Ames.
Married: William H. Moore in 1931 and he preceded her in death on November 9, 1966.
Survivors include: one daughter, Elsie M. Potter of Vandalia; nine grandchildren, Judy Lybarger, Marsha Jeffries, Crystal McCurdy, Anita Potter, Beverly Goree, Lynn McCurdy, Jack Heaston, Charles Potter Jr. and Rita Maloney; 23 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: one son, Harry Moore; one daughter, Alice Moore; one brother, John Ames; two sisters, Frances Fisher and Ida Zitek.
Memorials may be made to the Tri-County care Center Activity Department, Vandalia, Missouri.
