Arthaniel Hammers

Saturday, August 12, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Waters Funeral Chapel, 500 S. Main Street in Vandalia, Missouri.
Officiating will be: Rev. Richard Smith.
Music provided by: choir.
Interment will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.
Pallbearers: William Wheeler, Nathaniel Florence, James White, Roy McQuay, Roger Chatman and Louis Connors. Honorary pallbearers will be Arthaniel's nieces.

Arthaniel Hammers passed away early Monday evening at St. John's Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.

Born: April 2, 1948 in Paynesville, Missouri the son of Jorday and Thelma Hammers.

Married: Marcia V. Florence on July 31, 1982 in Bowling Green, Missouri; she survives at the home.

Survivors include: Marcia of Mexico, MO; two sons, Arthaniel D. Hammers of Louisiana and Theron M. Hammers of Ft. Leonard Wood, MO; two daughters, LaDawn Holt of Columbia and Kaleena D. Hammers of O'Fallon; six grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: parents, two brothers, Jordan and William Hammers and three sisters, Louise Starks, Maude Collier and Patsy Scott; one grandson, Javion A. Hammers.
