Sunday, October 22, 2006 from 2:00 p.m. until service time at Waters Funeral Chapel in Vandalia, Missouri.
Service:

Sunday, October 22, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. at Waters Funeral Chapel, 500 S. Main Street in Vandalia, Missouri.
Officiating will be: Rev. Bob Hoehn.
Music provided by: Sharon Hoehn - pianist.
Interment will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.
Pallbearers: friends and relatives will serve as pallbearers for Anna.

Anna E. DeTienne passed away at 7:21 a.m. on Friday, October 20, 2006 at the Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg, Missouri. Anna attended area schools and graduated from the Vandalia High School in 1929. She did clerical work at the North American Refractories in Farber, Missouri starting August 9, 1929 and retired from there on February 1, 1974. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Vandalia and was an avid Cardinal baseball fan. In February 1979, Anna moved to the John Knox Village retirement center in Higgensville, Missouri and was a resident there until she passed away.

Born: July 20, 1911 in Whiteside, Missouri the daughter of Arch J. and Marguerite (Pennington) Sanderson.

Married: Harold H. DeTienne on January 25, 1931 in Paris, Missouri; he preceded her in death on July 4, 1970.

Survivors include: two cousins, Thresa Bernice Harris of Vandalia, Missouri and Dorris Breneman of Mexico; a very good friend, Betty Rawlings of Vandalia.

Preceded in death by: one brother and husband, Harold.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the First Presbyterian Church, Vandalia.
