Almeda was united in marriage to Chester Durward Galloway on March 31, 1946, in Mexico, MO and he preceded her in death on September 28,1991.

Almeda is survived by her two children, Kay (Jerry) Cragen of Nashville, IL, and Allan Galloway of Edelstein, IL; two grandchildren, Shana (Shane) Placher of Chillicothe, IL and Scott (Jennifer) Cragen of Okawville; IL, five great grandchildren, Mason, Gunnar, and Maddox Placher of Chillicothe, IL and Kaylyn and Lillian Cragen of Okawville, IL; sister-in-law, Theresa Teague of Vandalia, MO; special friend, Jane Webster of Laddonia, MO; and many other relatives and friends.
