Alma Mae Lewis passed away peacefully at 2:55 a.m. on Thursday, April 27, 2006 at the Jacksonville Convalescent Center in Jacksonville, Illinois. After graduating from high school in Louisiana, Missouri, Alma worked as a factory worker for several different companies in the Louisiana, Troy and Vandalia areas. She attended the Second Christian Church in Vandalia and her hobbies included fishing and watching ballgames.

Born: April 28, 2006 in Louisiana, Missouri the daughter of Elmer and Betty (Smith) Rudd.

Married: Howard Lewis; he preceded her in death.

Survivors include: one brother, Johnnie Rudd of Davenport, Iowa; two step-sons; three step-brothers; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by: parents; one brother, Jimmie Rudd and one sister, Faye Warren.
