Larry’s great joy was serving the Lord.  He was a Deacon of Faith Tabernacle C.O.G.I.C. for many years, anything that needed done at the church he and Sam would get it done.  His church family was important to him.  He was a humble and quite man.

He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren whether it was a family gathering, playing Monopoly, video games, watching action movies, comedies or the Three Stooges or just watching them play.  He enjoyed watching Hallmark channel and cooking channel with his wife.  His latest greatest joy was camping with his family. He loved cook and grilling for his family.  If Chris was working and they needed to cook for an event He always had everything cleaned, set and ready to start cooking.  He even liked the gluten free meals that he would partake with his wife.

Larry worked for the Van-Far School District from before he graduated until 2008, when his health caused him not to be able to work any longer.  He enjoyed working with the staff and the children at the school for all those years. The children called him Mr. Larry and talked to him in and out of school.
