Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Vandalia.
Officiating will be: Pastor Jamie Franke.
Music provided by: Brenda Owen - pianist; Wayne Lynn - soloist.
Interment will be in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Charles Bartison, Wayne Lynn, Al Wortman, T. J. Connor, Keith Davis, Thomas Mayberry and Jim Mac Elzea. Honorary pallbearers: Richard Jones, Eddie Jones, Doug Jones and Ben Jones.

Agnes M. Jones passed away at 11:40 a.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at the Golden Living Center - Pin Oaks in Mexico, Missouri. She grew up and attended schools near Warrenton prior to her marriage. Agnes married Herb Jones on July 2, 1935 in Vandalia. After their marriage in 1935, they made their home in Vandalia where she was a full-time homemaker. Agnes also was the bookkeeper for her husband's used car business that spanned some 31 years. Agnes was a longtime member of the First Christian Church in Vandalia where she was a Sunday school teacher and helped with vacation Bible school. She had also been a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club in Vandalia. Agnes enjoyed quilting, crochet, playing cards and her flowers.

Born: June 8, 1919 in rural Warrenton, Missouri the daughter of Otho Cleveland and Mary Grundy (Branstetter) Jones.

Married: Herbert Ezra Jones on July 2, 1935 in Vandalia; he preceded her in death on March 12, 1991.

Survivors include: one son, Herbert Dean and wife, Helen Jones of St. Charles; two daughters: Vickie Lou and husband, Richard Rentfro of Vandalia; Mary C. and husband, Kent Baker of Pittsfield, Illinois; one sister, Dullie Lou Watt of Warrenton; seven grandchildren: Anthony Jones of Webster Groves; Terri Rene Martin of St. Peters; Lauren D. Rentfro of New Lenox, Illinois; Aaron Rentfro Sr. of Vandalia; Christy D. Shelton of rural Vandalia; Geoffrey K. Baker of Pittsfield and Allison N. Myrick of Madison, Mississippi; also survived by six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: parents; husband, Herb; three brothers: Forrest Nate Jones, Billy Lee Jones and Tullie Ben Jones.

Memorials are encouraged to the First Christian Church in Vandalia.
