Interment will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.

Edith A. Williamson died unexpectedly at 9:40 p.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2003 at the Audrain Medical Center in Mexico, Missouri. She had been a home maker and had worked at the Ely Walker Garment Factory in Vandalia for many years. Edith was a member of the First Christian Church in Vandalia and had lived in Vandalia with her husband, Ernest, since 1950.
Born: July 14, 1915 near Laddonia, Missouri the daughter of William Walter and Jessie Paul (Maiden) Beshears.
Married: Ernest R. Williamson on March 10, 1950 in Vandalia, Missouri; Ernest survives at the home.
Survivors include: husband, Ernest R. Williamson Sr. of Vandalia; one son, Ernest R. Williamson Jr. and his wife, Ursula of Frankford, Germany; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by: her parents; two brothers, Carl and Paul Beshears; two sisters, Ruby Christensen and Ruth Amans.
Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church in Vandalia.
